Black Off The Shoulder
For my birthday last month Jeff got us two tickets to see The Book of Mormon on Broadway, which I have been wanting to see for-ev-er. Our tickets were for the afternoon show, after which Jeff had made a reservation for dinner at one of my favorite NYC restaurants, Minetta Tavern. Between the show and dinner we had some extra time so we walked around the West Village a bit and grabbed a drink.
For the show/dinner I paired together two Magill pieces I made, a black ruffle wrap skirt and a black off-the-shoulder top with knotted sleeves. While hard to see well in the photos, when the shirt is tucked into the skirt the effect is essentially a wrap dress, which I love.
These amazing blue velvet flats were designed by a friend of mine from Cornell and I adore them! The floral embroidery is feminine and romantic, paired with the unexpected blue velvet color these flats are chic and fun. You can purchase the same pair in black and berry here, but if you're jonesing for some blue velvet flats I found some great similar options here, here and here.
