I've been talking about statement sleeves for what feels like ages now, yet my interest in them has yet to wane. In plotting out my next sewing adventure, I wanted to create a structured top with voluminous bell sleeves. I took a look through my closet and decided I could use some more pink in my wardrobe, so that became the color of choice to experiment with. The end result was this top with oversize bell sleeves and I am so in love with it. So much so, that I made a slightly different version in black as well! More to come in a separate post...

I've now worn these jeans in multiple posts (here and here) and they continue to be the denim style I reach for again and again. The high-waisted fit elongates and the wider leg makes them super comfortable. The vintage wash is perfect for giving a casual tone to dressier tops. Plus this pair was super cheap from H&M, I have definitely have already gotten my money's worth.

If you're still on the lookout for some statement sleeve tops, check out this post where I break down a bunch of affordable options to add to your wardrobe now.
