My New Favorite Shirt

The reason I started designing clothing for myself to wear is because I wasn’t finding exactly what I wanted in the marketplace. I look for pieces that are feminine, modern and with a touch of effortlessness and I kept coming up short when hunting this style down. This top that I designed and created embodies all three of those elements - the flirty ruffles, clean lines and easy silhouette. So clearly it’s become one of my favorite pieces.

While all of the garments that I have designed for myself I love for different reasons there are some that I find myself reaching for again and again. This white cotton top is one of those favorites. Whether paired with high-waisted jeans like these photos, tucked into a feminine midi skirt or atop cropped trousers, this shirt is versatile and easy to wear. Not to mention season-less. Best. shirt. ever.

This bag was a recent purchase from, wait for it, Goodwill! I stopped by to drop off a bunch of kitchen and home items we were donating and decided to see if there was anything good for sale. I found this basket bag in perfect condition for a mere $4! Can’t beat that price!
