How To Style a Red Sweater for Fall

Red can be a polarizing color. Some people love it, some people hate it. A vibrant bright red is one of my favorite bold colors to wear - I find the shade to be flattering on my skin-tone and I love the way it makes my blonde highlights ‘pop’. I have a red dress that I love to wear in the summertime but when the cooler fall weather rolls around I reach for this red sweater.

This sweater was purchased a few years ago from Shein, I love the mock neck and slightly shorter fit. As luck would have it, the exact sweater is still available! Shop it here. While it’s a steal for only $20, the weight feels high quality and I haven’t had any issues with it falling apart - even two years later. So definitely a good buy if you want to add an affordable red sweater to your closet.

For how to style a red sweater in the fall, I love the way it pairs with a lighter wash/distressed denim. There’s something about red and black I don’t care for (the combo is just too stark) so I stick to blue jeans when wearing this red sweater. A red sweater works great for fall weather and will come in handy as we get closer to the holidays as well!
