We made it to spring! The weather in New York City may not have gotten the memo yet, but we can safely assume the only way to go is up in temperature. Fingers crossed.
With a new season always comes the desire to clean out my closet and add some new fresh things to my wardrobe. I recently heard about ThredUp and am planning to give the service a try this spring. The concept is simple and makes consigning your clothing way easier than ever before. You go onto their website, you sign up and you order a 'kit' for $9.99. Inside this kit is a big ol' bag that you fill with all your gently used clothing and accessories that you no longer want. You send it back and they pay you for the items they want to sell - that's it! Anything they don't want is donated to charity. Not only is this way easier then lugging a bag to my local donation store, I can earn a little extra cash at the same time. I'm going to give it a try and will keep you guys posted on how it goes!
Now that I've my closet clean-out taken care of and made all that open room, I can look into some new pieces to add in! For the start of spring I have my eye on a few items, such as wrap skirts, floral prints, white boyfriend jeans and a new pair of cheeky Soludos (one of my favorite shoe brands). What are you buying for spring? Let me know in the comments section below!
