Happy Tuesday everyone! How was the weekend? We were up in Sonoma County for a friend’s wedding and it was beautiful. I have only been to Northern California wine country in the summer so seeing the changing colors of orange and yellow on the vines was such a treat. Now we are back in San Diego and I am ready to dive into this week!
We may be a ways out from Spring 2019 but that doesn’t mean I’m not getting a head start on fashion inspiration. The Ready-To-Wear Spring 2019 shows wrapped up earlier this month and they were chock full of feminine and romantic details, which are the cornerstone elements of my design aesthetic for Magill. Today I’m sharing three of my favorite Spring 2019 collections and highlighting some of the design details I loved in each one. I am working on a bunch of new pieces that will be for sale in the upcoming weeks on my brand’s website, Magill clothing. You can rest assured that there will be some inspiration seeping in from these amazing designers. I have also included a few pieces currently for sale that play off these collection themes as well, which will be perfect additions to your fall wardrobe.
Rebecca Taylor is one of my favorite designers who always nails that feminine-sweet style but in a modern way. Her designs are ones that are sure to make the wearer feel beautiful, something that is extremely important to me when designing as well.
I first fell in love with Isabel Marant when I studied abroad in Paris. She epitomizes cool french girl style and is always serving up something sexy yet understated with the perfect about of bohemian attitude.
I am and always will be a ruffle-lover and Valentino is the patron saint of the look. This collection is simple yet bold with clean lines in oversize shapes for a subdued sense of drama.
