One of the things I love doing on the weekend is getting some brunch, I mean who doesn’t love that? Living in New York City there are endless places to eat and our East Village neighborhood is no exception. Jeff and I have few standbys that we hit up when we want something fast and/or cheap including Tompkins Square Bagels (try the Koch), Zaragoza (random Mexican bodega with amazing burritos) and Russos (top notch Italian sandwiches). But sometimes we want to try something new.
A few weekends ago we made our way to Ducks Eatery for the first time and on the way snapped these photos. The interior of Ducks is relaxed, cozy and with a hint of Brooklyn hipster-ness. With a BOGO mimosa deal we were both happy campers. The food had some unique twists and with an ever-changing menu I would definitely be interested to test our their dinner sometime. Any other suggestions on good NYC eats? I’m always looking for suggestions!
