You’d be hard-pressed to find a more versatile jacket than a denim one. They simply go with everything and can be worn pretty much year round. In the summer you can toss them on over a dress and in the winter layer up underneath with a sweater(s). Given the multitude of ways you can wear your denim jacket there is no reason to limit your closet to just one. I have two that I rotate between and love them both. I have been eying up some white denim jackets like this one or this one, which will most likely be my next purchase.
The first of my two denim jackets is a cropped style that works perfectly over dresses and skirts. The shorter length still keeps your mid-section looking slim and doesn’t overwhelm the outfit. The second of my denim jackets is the one I am wearing here - an oversize fit. I love the “borrowed from my man’s closet” look that this shape conveys as well as the washed out color. I got this one in particular from Forever 21 (exact style here), which has a boxier fit and I also sized up to really get the slouchy look.
As mentioned above my neck denim jacket will definitely be a white one, perfect for spring and summer. I am particularly eying this one from Madewell. I include some great options below if you are looking to expand your denim jacket wardrobe this season!
